Family Wellbeing is a 5-stage group empowerment program that focuses on dealing with grief and loss, building positive relationships, controlling emotions and regaining control over life.
It was developed by and for Indigenous people, to address the loss and grief associated with the Stolen Generation. But is now also effectively being used by non-Indigenous people.
Family Wellbeing is effective in empowering both individuals and the wider community. It uses strengths to create the best future.
By going through the stages of Family Well Being, you can become a facilitator. After completing the first two stages, you can start running Family Well Being groups.
