RAD Educational & Support Groups (RESGs) are available to people living with dementia and their partner/spouse/support person/s, for recovery discussions & education, social interaction and support. The sessions are free of charge to participants.

The groups are on offer during NSW School terms at various locations including Wagga, Griffith, Leeton, Albury & Narrandera. Locations of groups is dependent on level of expressed interest.

The support groups are structured for the first five weeks and then become more focused on social interaction, friendship and support. Once the five structured weeks have been completed, any person who has attended the RAD program previously, are welcome to attend the social outings & get-togethers.

Participants are supported in sessions to develop their own individual recovery & self-management plans and sessions are tailored to reflect the needs of group participants.
